Would you like to help shape the future of health and care services in Forth Valley? 

The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Care is seeking to appoint three Non-Executive Board Members to join NHS Forth Valley Board. These are rewarding and influential appointments that provide an opportunity to contribute to improving health outcomes and healthcare services across the Forth Valley area. 

This is an important opportunity to join the Board at a time of significant change for healthcare and wider public services across Scotland as the Programme for Government sets out plans to replace the current 14 territorial Health Boards with two new Strategic Health Boards. Non-Executive Board members will be able to help shape future plans during the transition period, while ensuring NHS Forth Valley maintains its focus on delivering and improving services for local communities. 

We are recruiting to the following roles: 

• Non-Executive Board Member (Strategic Leadership, Transformation and Change) 
• Non-Executive Board Member (Population Health, Health Inequalities and Community Insight) 
• Non-Executive Board Member (Strategic Finance and Governance)

These appointments require a minimum time commitment of around 8 hours per week and attract remuneration of £16,224 per year.
