Counselling Care Skye and Lochalsh is a charity (founded in 2001) to make counselling more accessible and affordable for our community. We offer an opportunity for people to talk in confidence with someone outside their situation – gaining perspective and insight. Our goal? To help people better understand and manage the ways they think and behave, to improve their mental and emotional health. All our counsellors are professionally trained, having qualified from courses accredited by either the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland). We also offer student placements to counsellors in training. We abide by the ethical guidelines and code of conduct as stipulated by the BACP and COSCA.
