Role

Are you experienced in fundraising, passionate about social justice and ready to use your skills to make a difference for people seeking safety in Glasgow?  

Govan Community Project provides a holistic range of support for individuals and families in the asylum and refugee community.

We are looking for a grants and trusts fundraiser who can transform human stories into powerful funding proposals.  Your work will directly secure a combination of project and unrestricted funding needed to keep our essential services sustainable.  

In this role we are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years experience in a grants and trusts fundraising role and a history of securing grant funding in excess of £200,000 annually. 
  • Has knowledge of the Scottish charity funding sector, full cost recovery and budget planning
  • Can create compelling narratives that highlight the real experiences and needs of our community
  • Can develop a strong pipeline of grant prospects to diversify project and unrestricted funding
