Role

Glasgow West Housing Association Ltd is a voluntary, not for profit organisation and a registered charity. With history dating back to 1978, we have a vision of shaping thriving communities. With over 1500 rented properties: Homes are our purpose, service and sustainability is our priority.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Corporate Administrator, providing administrative support to the Finance and IT functions, as well as the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will be performance-driven and demonstrate flexibility, strong IT skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Previous finance experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Tasks:

1. Process invoices, payments and other routine financial transactions;

2. Maintain accurate finance records and assist with basic financial administration;

3. Update and maintain the Association’s website and online content;

4. Provide basic IT support and assist colleagues with reactive IT issues;

5. Monitor outstanding customer balances and undertake initial debt recovery action;

6. Contact customers regarding outstanding debts and maintain appropriate recovery records;

7. Provide general administrative support across the Association;

8. Prepare correspondence, documents and basic reports as required;

9. Maintain accurate corporate records and databases; and

10. Respond to routine enquiries from customers, colleagues and external contacts.
