Role

Redwoods is a Christian organisation that is passionate about bringing the love of God into the lives of people with learning disabilities. Originally founded in 1986 by a local church, today we support over 30 people in Edinburgh and the Lothians through services that include care at home/housing support, day services and music therapy.

An opportunity has arisen within our Estates Team based at Newtongrange, Midlothian for a part-time (normally Monday to Wednesday) Estate Maintenance Assistant. Working as part of a small team, this important role supports the wider work of Redwoods, and comes with a varied range of duties and responsibilities including ground maintenance, property maintenance, some housekeeping tasks, and scheduled Health & Safety work.

A competent handyman with a good all-round skill-set is desirable, particularly joinery, and must be able to drive.
