We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supported Living Team Leader to join our management team and oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality Supported Living services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about person-centred support and committed to helping people who live with learning and/or physical disabilities achieve positive outcomes, maintain their independence, and live fulfilling lives.

As a Supported Living Team Leader, you will lead, motivate and develop staff teams, ensuring that Supported Living services are delivered in line with SOL's values and the National Health and Social Care Standards while creating a positive culture focused on quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Supported Living services, ensuring high standards of person-centred support.
  • Coach, supervise, and develop staff to achieve strong performance and positive outcomes.
  • Oversee rota planning, staffing levels, and resource management.
  • Promote independence, inclusion, positive risk-taking and meaningful community participation for the people we support.
  • Build effective relationships with families, health professionals, social work teams, and other partners.
  • Support the recruitment, induction, retention and development of staff.
  • Monitor and review support plans to ensure they reflect individual aspirations and outcomes.
  • Promote the use of technology-enabled care and innovative approaches that enhance independence and choice.
  • Participate in the On-Call Manager rota.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience managing or leading teams within a health and social care setting.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, dignity, and choice.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
