Role

The Royal British Legion Scotland (Legion Scotland), the largest veterans’ membership charity in Scotland, offers support for veterans of all ages who need help. delivering a range of services and support that help combat loneliness and isolation. We also help with signposting to health care, respite, advice, social services and other Military Charities, as well as creative activities and events such as breakfast and lunch clubs.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for a fixed period to March 2027.

Reporting to Legion Scotland’s Veterans Community Support Manager at Head Office you will co-ordinate the delivery of the Veterans Community Support Service within the Angus, Perthshire & Fife Area. You will be required to engage with members of the ExService Community and partners to provide support and assistance to veterans and their families.

You will coordinate the work of the Support Volunteers within your area of responsibility ensuring all Support Volunteers are trained and aware of their responsibilities.

You will also be expected to undertake other duties that support veterans. There may be some work outside of your contracted hour supporting our Events Team.

In return we offer the following salary and benefits:

• £18,750.00p per annum

• 31 days pro rata annual holidays (with an additional Christmas shut down period)

• Employer’s contribution to a Workplace pension (after probation period)
