Role

At Bipolar Scotland, we believe no one should face bipolar alone. We're looking for a passionate, organised and people-focused Community Fundraising and Support Groups Officer to help grow community fundraising across Scotland while supporting our network of peer support groups.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll build relationships with supporters, volunteers and members, organise fundraising activities, support local peer groups, and help ensure people living with bipolar can access welcoming, well-run support in their communities.

What you'll be doing:

• Grow and develop community fundraising across Scotland.
• Build lasting relationships with supporters, volunteers and community groups.
• Support new and existing peer support groups to thrive.
• Coordinate community events and represent Bipolar Scotland at local activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to increase our impact and reach.

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves working with people and building relationships.
• Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Has excellent communication and digital skills.
• Enjoys problem-solving and working independently as part of a supportive team.
• Shares our commitment to inclusion, empathy and member-led services.

The role:

• Home-based, with regular travel across Scotland.
• Travel to meetings, events, support groups and our Paisley storage facility is required.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
• 28hrs per week, fixed term to 31st March 2028
