Role

Scottish Refugee Council is Scotland’s national charity working to support refugees to build new lives in Scotland. Our central ambition is for Scotland to be the best place for refugees to thrive, challenge injustice, achieve their ambitions and empower their communities, no matter where they have come from or how they arrived.

We are seeking a Grants Officer to support the growth of grant income from charitable trusts and foundations across Scotland and the UK. Working within the Operations Directorate as part of the Funding Development team, you will play a key role in researching funding opportunities, developing high-quality applications, and supporting funder reporting and relationship management.

You will be passionate about helping to ensure that refugees receive the support that they need. You will have experience of supporting grant or fundraising applications, strong research and organisational skills, and clear written communication skills, with the attention to detail needed to maintain accurate records and work to deadlines.

This role will focus on supporting the delivery of Scottish Refugee Council’s trust and foundation funding portfolio and helping to grow our restricted and unrestricted income.
