Role

Govan Community Project provides a range of holistic services for people seeking asylum, refugees and vulnerable migrants in the Greater Govan area of Glasgow.

Our Digital Inclusion Coordinator supports our community members with connectivity, access to devices and development of digital skills.

You will be joining our Communities team and responsible for managing a device lending scheme which supports digital inclusion for our community members. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and local partners to identify existing learning opportunities which are accessible to our community members or if gaps are identified, work with local partners to develop these opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of supporting vulnerable individuals to develop digital skills and engaging with communities where English is not the first language. You will have knowledge and understanding of the impact of digital exclusion on those in the asylum process. You will be confident in developing partnerships to improve accessibility of community based digital learning opportunities.
