Role

We are looking for compassionate, reliable and proactive CLA's to join our 24/7 supported living service. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high‑quality Housing Support and Care at Home to 2 adults who require support to live independently, maintain their home, and lead full and meaningful lives.

You will work within their home providing practical assistance, emotional support, and personal care, and encouraging independence, choice and dignity at all times.

This role is ideal for someone who is committed to supporting individuals with varying needs, including learning and physical disabilities to achieve their goals and live safely in their communities.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide person‑centred support based on individual support plans
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and budgeting
  • Support individuals to manage and maintain their home 
  • Provide personal care, medication support, and health‑related tasks (training provided)
  • Encourage independence, confidence and life skills development
  • Support individuals to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities
  • Maintain clear, accurate and confidential records
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
  • Respond to emergencies, including during night shifts and lone‑working situations

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient and respectful approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Reliability and commitment to providing safe, high‑quality support
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work within a 24/7 shift rota
  • Basic IT skills (for digital care recording)
  • A willingness to work towards SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (if not already held)
  • Driving licence (desirable but not essential for this role)
  • Experience is welcome but not essential—full training will be provided. Your values and attitude are what matter most.

Additional Requirements:

  • PVG membership (or willingness to join)
  • SSSC registration (or ability to register within required timeframe)
  • Right to work in the UK
