About Upmo

Upmo has been championing inclusion, creativity and independence for autistic and learning-disabled adults across Edinburgh and the Lothians since 2006. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and live a fulfilling life. Through a diverse range of creative, educational and community-based opportunities, we support our students to develop life skills, build confidence and realise their potential.

This is an exciting time to join Upmo as we continue to grow and strengthen our impact. As Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing visible, values-led leadership across our project sites. You will inspire and support our team to deliver high-quality, person-centred education and support, ensuring our services remain empowering, community-focused and transformative. Working both autonomously and collaboratively, you will help bring our strategic vision and values to life every day. Team Leaders support the day to day delivery of our service, leading by example and engaging proactively to supporting both staff and students in order to create a structured, supportive environment where staff feel guided and individuals accessing the service feel valued and supported to achieve their goals.

About the Role

You will help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere while ensuring the service operates smoothly and consistently.

Working closely with the Service Manager, you will support the operational running of the site by coordinating daily logistics of the service. This includes organising and managing rotas to ensure that our services are adequately staffed.
