Role

Glasgow West Housing Association Ltd is a voluntary, not for profit organisation and a registered charity. With history dating back to 1978, we have a vision of shaping thriving communities. We own over 1500 rented properties; and through our trading subsidiary (Glasgow West Enterprises Ltd), we provide property factoring services to just over 600 domestic and commercial properties. 

We are seeking to appoint two experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Technical Officers to join our Technical Division, supporting our ambitious investment plans across component replacement, major fabric repairs (including preventative maintenance and incident response, and common repairs), net-zero initiatives and cyclical maintenance projects with a view to ensuring Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) compliance, enhancing the quality of our homes, ensuring resident satisfaction, improving our neighbourhoods and preservation of our tenemental heritage.  

These are dynamic, hands-on roles involving site visits, stakeholder engagement, procurement activity, and collaborative working across multiple partners and disciplines. You will act as client representative in contract management, ensure regulatory and health & safety compliance, and deliver high standards of customer service and performance.  

The key tasks identified in the respective role profiles are reflective of a dual focus and service need. 

A relevant professional or vocational qualification (HND/SCQF level 8 or above) is desirable.
