Role

Are you an experienced Community Development Worker with an interest in Horticulture & Growing?

If so, then please see details of the role below 

The purpose of this role is specifically to develop our community allotment space and other areas of greenspace identified for its growing potential. 

In addition, this role will support us to develop further our dignified and collaborative approach to food insecurity working with young people and the community to:

  • Grow our food and growing programmes locally. 
  • Generate interest in and progress in our community allotment space. 
  • Support the newly created Gorbals Food Network

Crossroads Youth and Community Association’s work and values are built on the central belief that “everyone had the right to live gloriously: whatever in society prevents this, should be challenged and whatever in the individual helps should be nurtured”

This role will involve working across the community with young people, families and the wider community.
