Role

Birthlink is seeking an experienced, compassionate Manager to lead the operational delivery of our Redress service, a central part of our work supporting care experienced people and survivors of abuse in care. This pivotal role will oversee day to day service delivery across key organisational activity, ensuring safe, trauma informed, rights based practice throughout the Redress process. 

You will guide and support a hybrid team, strengthen operational systems, and ensure full compliance with legal frameworks including the Redress for Survivors (Historical Child Abuse in Care) (Scotland) Act 2021, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018. Working closely with the Executive Director, funders, partners, and beneficiaries, you will help shape Birthlink’s national contribution to improving access to records and supporting people through Redress. 

Alongside leading Birthlink’s Redress service, you may also contribute to the development or oversight of other aligned projects as required.
