Role

Are you passionate about tackling inequality, improving financial wellbeing and supporting women affected by economic abuse?

Financially Included is Scotland's emerging specialist economic abuse charity. Over the past five years, we have grown from an innovative local partnership into an established specialist service supporting women affected by financial and economic abuse. Part of GEMAP Scotland and supported by Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership and a wide range of statutory, voluntary and private sector partners, we are helping shape the response to economic abuse at a local and national level. 

We are an ambitious project taking action on the ground to improves the lives of women in Glasgow while campaigning for and being part of wider progress at a national level. We are now seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to lead Financially Included through its next exciting stage of development.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality services for women affected by economic abuse while driving forward the development of the national Purple Phone Helpline and strengthening Financially Included's profile as Glasgow's specialist economic abuse advice provider. 

About the Role

You will:

  • Lead and develop a skilled and passionate team.
  • Drive the growth of Financially Included from a Glasgow-based partnership into a nationally recognised service.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development and promotion of the Purple Phone Helpline.
  • Influence policy and practice relating to financial and economic abuse across Scotland.
  • Ensure services remain survivor-centred, trauma-informed and evidence-based.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience managing projects, services or teams.
  • Understands violence against women, coercive control, economic abuse and financial inclusion.
  • Is a confident leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Has experience working in partnership environments and influencing strategic change.
  • Can combine big-picture thinking with strong operational delivery.
