Role

Do you want to play a vital role in supporting unpaid carers across Fife?

Fife Voluntary Action is seeking a Coordinator for our Time to Live project. The Coordinator playes a key role in supporting unpaid carers across Fife to access the information, advice and resources they need to sustain their caring responsibilities and maintain their wellbeing. The project provides funding for unpaid carers across Fife to take meaningful short breaks from their caring responsibilities. Working closely with carers, community organisations and colleagues across FVA, you will ensure the Time to Live fund is effectively promoted, efficiently administered and accessible to those who will benefit most.

You will provide information, guidance and practical support throughout the application process, helping carers access meaningful opportunities for a break from their caring role. The postholder will also build and maintain strong partnerships to raise awareness of carers' rights and the importance of respite and short breaks. In addition, you will support the delivery of engagement activities and events that strengthen connections with local communities and improve access to support for unpaid carers across Fife.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining excellent administration skills with working directly with people.
