Role

Lead Change. Transform Lives.

Elpis Trust is looking for an exceptional leader to guide our organisation into its next chapter.

We provide safe, supportive accommodation for young women aged 16–25 who are experiencing homelessness, are care leavers, or unaccompanied asylum seekers. Our work is rooted in compassion, respect, and a commitment to helping young women build independent, fulfilling futures.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a service that delivers real, lasting impact every day.

Working closely with the Board, you will:

  • Shape and deliver our strategic vision
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred services
  • Lead and inspire a committed staff team
  • Oversee financial sustainability and growth
  • Build partnerships and represent Elpis externally

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategy, people management, and service delivery.

About you

We are looking for a confident, values-driven leader who brings:

  • Senior management experience in social care
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets and organisational performance
  • A commitment to supporting vulnerable young people
  • The ability to lead through complexity and drive improvement

A relevant degree plus management qualification or SVQ Level 4 (or equivalent), and PVG membership are essential.

Why Join Elpis?

  • Lead a respected organisation making a meaningful difference
  • Work with a passionate and dedicated team
  • Influence strategy and shape future services
  • Be part of a values-led, person-centred organisation
  • Work with a very active and committed Board

If you are ready to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you.
