Role

Everyday people with chest, heart and stroke conditions leave hospital scared and alone. You can be part of our mission to make sure that there is no life half lived in Scotland. 

By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Living Well Coordinator you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living. 

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke, including Long COVID conditions to live life to the full again. The Advice Line service is a free and confidential helpline that supports people living with our conditions to ensure that live no life is half lived.

We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to support people living with long-term conditions. In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of volunteers who provide telephone-based wellbeing support.

You’ll bring excellent communication and listening skills, along with experience in health or social care. Experience in recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as goal setting, would be desirable.
