Role:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join us as Team Leader in our newly opened, custom-built home in Granton, supporting up to five young people aged 15–21. As part of our commitment to #KeepThePromise, you’ll help create a safe and nurturing environment where young people are empowered to grow, heal and learn as they move towards adulthood.
You’ll lead a dedicated residential house team working in close partnership with our young people, supporting their:
- Emotional and physical wellbeing
- Independent learning and life skills
- Education, employment, and training pathways
- Family, social and community connections
As Team Leader you’ll also work closely with families, social work, health services and other colleagues to keep the strengths, aspirations and voice of the young person at the heart of all we do while ensuring their safety and welfare is always maintained.
You will lead the day-to-day operations of the house, you are expected to lead, support and supervise a staff team to create a home - full of nurture and care for young people and maintained and resourced to meet the needs of young people and your staff.

- Can build meaningful relationships with young people, families, and professionals
- Understands trauma-informed, restorative, and developmental approaches
- Can confidently coordinate referral, assessment, and care planning processes

The post holder must be eligible and prepared to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The minimum educational requirements for this post is SCQF level 8 in Social Care or similar course with an expectation to work towards a management SCQF level 10.
