Role

Transport Planning and Engineering (TP&E), Scotland’s leading active travel and engineering consultancy, are looking for a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to make a difference through inclusive design with communities, councils, development trusts and larger agencies.

You will lead on the design and delivery of a wide range of active travel projects from inception to completion in both urban and rural environments.

Projects include structural and road-based design schemes throughout Scotland, working to the latest design standards and recognising worldwide best practice.

The role offers great variety with the opportunity to develop in all areas of engineering, with mentoring available to support working towards chartership if you choose to, while becoming an expert in the growing active travel industry.

As well as experience of infrastructure CAD and project delivery the role requires a proactive approach, dealing with community engagement and providing professional advice to third parties.
