Role

As Water Efficiency Project Coordinator, you will co-ordinate and support the Home Energy Scotland advice centres to ensure excellent customer service, knowledge transfer, monitoring and reporting on targets. You will work closely with our five advice centres, the wider team within Energy Saving Trust and Scottish Water to ensure a successful delivery of the Scottish Water Project.

The team

This role sits within the Home Energy Scotland (HES) partnerships and public engagement team. We work together to extend the reach of our free, impartial advice service, especially to households facing fuel poverty.

We collaborate with community groups, third sector organisations, and employers to make sure more people can access support that helps them save energy, reduce costs, and cut carbon. We work in partnership with Scottish Water to distribute water saving packs - advice and devices - to householders across Scotland.

What you’ll do  

  • Act as the main point of contact for Scottish Water the Home Energy Scotland advice centres for the delivery of the water efficiency project and the associated reporting and monitoring requirements.
  •  Engage with Home Energy Scotland advice centres to ensure that process for; delivering water efficiency advice and water saving packs and associated recording, are in line with Scottish Water’s requirements, understood and followed by advice centres and Water Efficiency Project KPIs are met.
  • Work with colleagues within Energy Saving Trust and Home Energy Scotland to support the delivery, communication, evaluation and reporting of the project in line with their Scottish Water requirements and project needs.
  • Showcase the project through presentations at meetings/conferences; work with marketing and communications executive to produce case studies, blogs, newsletter articles.
