Role

The Scottish Council on Archives is looking to appoint a Sector Development Manager to lead the delivery of our professional development and capacity building programmes for the archives and records sector in Scotland. 

This is a new and exciting role within SCA, focused on strengthening the resilience, visibility, and impact of archives and records management across Scotland. You will work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and sector professionals to shape responsive programmes, advocate for the sector, and ensure the relevance of SCA’s work in an evolving landscape. 

We are especially keen to hear from candidates with direct experience or a strong understanding of the current challenges and opportunities facing archivists and records managers.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of SCA and the wider sector.
