Role
Help turn Comrie's heritage into lasting community benefit. Working with Comrie Heritage Group, colleagues and partners, you will develop opportunities that strengthen participation, improve the visitor experience and support Comrie Development Trust's long-term sustainability.
- Museum development. Coordinate Comrie Museum at Cultybraggan's progress towards Accreditation, building on initial work with Museums Galleries Scotland and supporting the Heritage Group to act on specialist advice.
- Heritage-led regeneration. Develop partnerships, volunteering and skills opportunities that help put the 2025 Heritage Conservation Framework into practice. The huts are historic assets in their own right, as well as spaces serving the community.
- Partnerships and community benefit. Build on existing heritage and research connections across Comrie and District; help develop interpretation, visitor activities and opportunities for funding, visitor giving and practical support.
Join a small team delivering lasting benefits for Comrie. During this fixed-term appointment, turn agreed heritage priorities into practical results: progress towards museum Accreditation, heritage-led regeneration guided by the
Heritage Conservation Framework, and activities connecting people with local heritage. Work with the Community Engagement and Volunteer Co-ordinator and Business Development Manager to agree realistic milestones and keep delivery moving.
About you
