Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF), a values-led charity supporting children, young people and adults of all genders who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate and skilled Client Support Officer to join our team of 23 staff, based in Airdrie. This role involves providing trauma-informed support to children, young people and adults, helping survivors to access the services and support they need. 

The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification or have equivalent experience working with children, young people and/or adults. They will have experience supporting vulnerable individuals, a sound understanding of trauma and its impact, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support. We recognise the importance of wellbeing when working in a trauma-focused organisation and are committed to creating a supportive, reflective and inclusive working environment.

Hours and Salary

  • 35 hours per week (office-based)
  • Permanent position
  • Salary: £27,963 per annum
  • Working hours: 
    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
    • Wednesday: 11.00am to 7.00pm

Additional Information

This post is considered regulated work with children and protected adults, as defined by the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a member. Employment can only commence once the PVG process is complete.
