Role

We are on the lookout for a passionate sales and customer focussed individual to lead our Business Development and Community Engagement team for our Scout Adventures outdoor activity centres.

As Business Development and Community Engagement Manager you will mentor, influence, and lead our team of customer services officers to deliver an exceptional customer experience, as well as the development and delivery of our marketing and retention strategy to achieve our sales targets.

Please be aware this role will involve going out to meet with Scouts, school and other customer groups, this will sometimes require you to travel as well as work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

  • Salary: £34,000 – £38,000
  • Pension: A contributory pension scheme is available. Contribution rates are 7% of salary from the employer and a minimum of 5% from the employee.
  • Hours of work: 35 hours per week. Please note occasional flexible and weekend working is a requirement of this role.
  • Location: Scouts Scotland HQ, Dunfermline, Fife – with the flexibility to work using a hybrid approach by agreement with your line manager
