Role

Are you looking for a role where you can truly make a difference to young people’s lives? We are seeking a Young Persons Group & Activities Coordinator to join our Routes team. The post will support the ongoing development and delivery of Routes programme across East and West Dunbartonshire, supporting young people aged 12-26 years affected by someone else’s alcohol or drug use. The post holder will play an integral part in creating positive childhood memories and facilitating fun group activities.

Routes is co-produced in collaboration with the young people we support, which means their views are central to everything we do. The Routes model encourages young people to have hope and aspirations. We provide person-centred support which combines one-to-one and/ or group support, helping them build a positive future.

Alongside the advocacy and one-to-one support, we also offer a busy programme of activities and groups. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative person to join our team to plan and organise the delivery of our peer support groups and school holiday activities programme.

We are seeking compassionate, creative and collaborative applicants who want to make a difference to the lives of young people affected someone else’s substance use. The role involves working alongside young people to plan and organise groups and activities of their choice. We are looking for candidates who are educated to HNC level or have relevant work experience, ideally with experience of planning and organising groups for young people.
