Role
We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our Strategic Initiatives and Governance team. The post holder will play a pivotal role in driving organisational change through effective implementation of strategic initiatives as well as overseeing and optimising Right There's portfolio to enhance capabilities, streamline processes and achieve strategic organisational objectives.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements
- Execute strategic initiative projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any deviations and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including leadership team, senior management, and cross-functional teams, to include a range of perspectives to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with digital transformation goals
- Work closely with the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Governance, facilitate communication plans for transformation activities to keep stakeholder informed about project and manage expectations and ensure alignment to strategic goals throughout the project lifecycle
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluation the performance of projects within the portfolio
- Produce data and insights that are meaningful, maintained, accurate and up-to-date to facilitate informed decisions, reporting and communications
- Regularly report on the status, progress and impact of projects to Leadership Team and other relevant stakeholders

Applicants will have proven Project and Change Management experience specifically from strategic transformation projects. You will be experienced and confident in leading projects in a fast-paced environment, and you will have excellent communication and influencing skills with a focus on collaboration and engagement.
What you can expect from us...
- You will report to the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Governance
- Working hours are 35 per week worked Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm with one-hour unpaid break. Contracted hours can be worked flexibly in agreement with the line manager.
- Your main place of work is 15 Dava Street, Glasgow, G51 2JA. Hybrid working, minimum of 3 days office based.
- Annual leave entitlement of 210 hours (equivalent to six weeks) pro rata per year in the first year rising to 280 hours (equivalent to eight weeks) pro rata per year in the second
- You will be automatically enrolled into the People’s Pension provided you meet the auto-enrolment criteria. Deductions will be taken from your first monthly salary

We are Right There, a charity that recently celebrated our 200th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home, and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns.
Last year we supported almost 4,000 individuals, helping to prevent them from becoming homeless or separated from the people they love. Every person’s story is unique, and everyone’s route home is different - it doesn’t matter what the situation is – we’re not here to judge, only to help.
