Role

You will be providing information, emotional and practical support to families with children with a wide range of support needs, empowering them to understand and access the support available to them from external services.

About you:

Are you driven to understand the needs of service users and identify appropriate ways to meet their needs? Do you thrive in connecting families with other parents and carers with lived experience?

This job is for you if you have:

• a strong understanding of the needs of families who have children with a disability or additional support needs
• knowledge of children’s rights, trauma informed and inclusive practices
• excellent relationship building skills
• an understanding of child and adult protection practices
