Role

We are seeking to appoint passionate Support Workers who are capable of becoming part of our dynamic and creative Recovery team. Being a support worker is a role where you can make everyday matter. If you are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a tangible difference, and enjoy a varied and active post, this role is for you. 

The postholders, together with their colleagues, will provide a range of support interventions opportunities and activities, including 1-1 sessions with participants. The team will also deliver and host a range of group work programmes, workshop activities and events suited to locality-based needs and individual Beacons. One aim of the Beacons is to work together with participants to support their social (re)integration, promoting recovery, resilience, and self-determination. You will be engaged in multi-agency working and establishing pathways with other partners and agencies to facilitate people’s positive engagement with the Beacons.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for experienced support workers with relevant qualifications and experience. If you have experience and are passionate about people, then we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience and be able to demonstrate working effectively in a similar support role. 
  • The ability to build trust based effective, relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Have a proactive and dynamic personal style, with flexibility in style and approach.
