Role

We are looking for a Corporate Support & Communications Officer (CSCO). 

You will provide high quality communications and administrative support to the Commissioner, Head of Corporate Services and Corporate Services Team. You will report to the Head of Corporate Services.

Excellent communications skills will be required to deal with the diversity of people who contact the office, and an early and effective contribution will be necessary.  

The successful applicant will be able to work independently to deliver a range of support services such as:

  • Ensuring effective communications
  • Maintaining ESC’s website
  • Assisting with the management of IT systems
  • Managing records
  • Providing administrative support to the Commissioner, Head of Corporate Services and Corporate Services Team
  • Managing meetings and taking minutes

The successful applicant will also share our values which are that we will act ethically and with empathy, kindness and respect.

This is a full-time, permanent post and pensionable through the Civil Service Pension Scheme. 

The successful applicant will be offered a robust and supportive induction, as well as ongoing learning and development opportunities.
