Systems Lead
Children First
Full time
Hybrid: Edinburgh or Glasgow
£36,459 - £41,850
Closing 13 March 2026
Advertised from 26 February 2026

Role

We are looking for a Systems Lead who combines strong technical skills with an ability to listen, understand and work alongside colleagues across the organisation. You will translate what people need into clear, practical digital solutions that support our child centred and relational approach.

You will be part of a supportive, compassionate organisation that places children at the centre of everything we do. You will have the opportunity to shape systems that directly contribute to better experiences for families and better evidence of the life‑changing work our teams carry out every day.

About the role

  • Lead the management and development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and support confident use of Microsoft 365 apps.
  • Work with teams across Children First to understand what would make their work easier, then help shape system improvements that reflect real practice.
  • Support colleagues with clear guidance, training and resources.
  • Ensure our systems produce high quality information so we can evidence the difference our work makes.
  • Co‑ordinate development sprints, manage release cycles and collaborate with external partners.

About you

  • Strong experience managing and improving digital systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Able to turn real needs into thoughtful workflows, automation and system changes.
  • Confident working with a range of colleagues and external partners.
  • Highly organised, attentive to detail and committed to data protection.
  • Aligned with our values and motivated to support child centred practice.

The selection process will include seeking PVG Scheme/Disclosure information.
