About Aberlour Youthpoint Moray

Our Youthpoint Moray service provides help to children and young people in Moray who may be struggling with their emotions and behaviour, prompting concerns about their well-being.

Our service provides one-to-one and group work support for children, young people and their families in a safe and relaxed setting. They help them to understand the issues that are affecting them, that can sometimes be the cause of their behaviour. They help them take steps to overcoming their difficulties at home, school and in the community. Aberlour Youthpoint Moray provides three services to young people in Moray; Intensive Community Support (ICS), Early Help and Mentoring and YP Zone.

What we are looking for.... 

As Service Administrator you will work with the Management team to provide financial administration for the service. You will also be responsible for recording and inputting information into our case management system. You must be able to work with high levels of accuracy and recording and inputting data and in providing regular management information in agreed format and responding to ad hoc requests as required. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our service ensuring administrative processes run efficiently and effectively.

Your job is also about supporting and working with people. For many of our families, our Service Administrators are their first point of contact - as they are usually there to welcome them into our offices! Our young people look forward to meeting our Service Administrators as they are always greeted with a smile. Our administrators are at times a point of contact for families/partners who are looking for urgent help and must respond in an appropriate, friendly and helpful manner.

The hours of work for this post are 25 hours per week, to be worked Monday – Friday during normal office hours. This role will be office based, in our service in Elgin.

Ideally you will have administrative experience gained through working within a busy office or social care environment. You will be comfortable working with all Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, and be able to create spreadsheets and deal with numerical information. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or equivalent experience of working in a busy office.
