Role

Fortune Works is one of Scotland’s largest social enterprises for people with learning disability. The Operations Manager post will provide an exciting and rare opportunity to help lead the service in providing meaningful social and economic activity to adults with learning disability in north west Glasgow. Fortune Works is part of Enable Glasgow, a long-established member-led organisation which works with people with learning disability and their carers in the city.

Fortune Works supports around 120 people with learning disability to play a full role in the life of the community through providing in-house economic activity and social support, and also in partnership with local community organisations in Drumchapel and north-west Glasgow. Our Operations Managers play a lead role in maintaining and developing these partnerships, and in ensuring the smooth running of a very busy service.

We are looking for people who have management or supervisory experience, drive, initiative, and experience to help us move on to the next stage of our development, and who have a demonstrable commitment to the human rights and inclusion of people who have a learning disability.
