Join CrossReach as a Night Care Worker
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Night Care Worker to join our team supporting older people. In this role, you’ll provide wakeful night duty cover, making sure every person in our care feels safe, respected and well supported throughout the night.
What you’ll do
- Provide personal and intimate care with sensitivity and respect
- Support mobility and the use of aids and equipment
- Monitor health and wellbeing throughout the night
- Manage and update care plans with input from others involved in the person’s care
- Liaise with health professionals when needed
- Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all residents
What you will bring
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re patient, attentive and confident working independently during night shifts. You’ll have good communication skills, basic computer literacy and a genuine interest in supporting older people. Ideally, you’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, but if not, we’ll support you to work towards it. Flexibility is key, as you’ll work on a rota basis that includes weekends and evenings.
