Role

Values in Action Scotland (VIAS) is recruiting for the post of Facilitator (Quality Improvement Team), based in Hillington. Reporting to the Development Lead, this exciting opportunity will give the role holder scope to help VIAS to expand delivery of our Quality Improvement Service. This will grow and develop the organisation’s commitment to disabled people, in particular, people with learning disabilities and/ or autism gaining and sustaining paid employment.  

Background

Values in Action Scotland is a Quality Improvement Service. Our vision is for a Scotland where people with learning disabilities and/or autism have the same opportunities as everyone else and are supported to achieve their goals including great support to achieve meaningful paid employment and equal access to goods and services provided by the public and private sectors. Our Quality Improvement Team build business capacity to be great employers and service providers.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will support the Lead Consultant (Quality Improvement Team) to coordinate, administer and deliver training, evaluation and consultancy in line with VIAS strategy. They will support them to manage relationships with customers and consultants and explore new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to deliver successful outcomes to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and/ or autism and to improve the quality of services. Previous experience delivering training and facilitating groups is also an essential feature of this work. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building and nurturing successful partnerships. Ideally with experience of working to specified targets and income generation, candidates may also benefit from previous knowledge and understanding of issues and activities that relate to people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
