About The Yard:

The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families with ambitions to support over 3000 children and young people.

We offer play, respite and family support from our adventure play centres in Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and Glasgow. 

About the role:

As our Philanthropy Manager, you will help generate the income required to continue our amazing services, keep our existing supporters engaged and inspire new supporters to come on board. You will do this by leading and driving our Individual, Community and Events fundraising across our four sites.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Helping to implement our fundraising strategy

• Developing and nurturing relationships with individuals and groups who donate to The Yard

• Developing and growing the income from events

About you:

If you are eager to raise the profile of The Yard as we expand our services across Scotland and think you can play your part in helping us reach our goals, we would welcome your application.

This job is for you if you:

• Can build and maintain strong working relationships with individuals and groups

• Have experience working in a role within a fundraising environment with demonstrable success in meeting financial targets

• Can manage a diverse workload while managing your own time effectively

• Have excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a friendly manner

• Work effectively as part of a team
