Role
This job role will support the two weekly family play sessions delivered by PlayPeace, which are open to families of children and young people with additional support needs and their siblings . Parents and carers attend, so the Activities Co-ordinator role is to welcome families, set up the resources and activities and support participation during the sessions, ensuring a safe environment for play. Promoting the sessions and maintaining the attendance register using our booking platform is also required. Building good relationships with families is also vital to this role, so that we continue to offer high quality experiences shaped by the families who attend.
This role involves working as part of a small team and excellent communication skills are required , along with enthusiasm and a commitment to our charity values of: welcoming, including, supporting , building resilience and celebrating achievements.
