On site: Based out of our Glasgow city centre office but will involve travel across the local authority as we meet our parents where they are.
£27,710

Role

Parent Network Scotland is seeking a compassionate and skilled Facilitator to join our team. This role is central to delivering our programmes through our Scottish Parent Academy and supporting parents on their learning journeys.

About the role

As a Facilitator, you will:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging peer -to-peer group sessions that build safety, trust and connection.
  • Support parents to explore their own strengths, confidence and wellbeing, both online and in community settings.
  • Follow quality assurance processes, including capturing and maintaining attendance records and contributing to reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to review and develop resources, ensuring they remain relevant.
  • Maintain knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety responsibilities.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings strong facilitation skills and the ability to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Can sensitively manage group dynamics, including moments of challenge or distress.
  • Is confident facilitating both online and in-person
  • Communicates with clarity and empathy, building relationships with parents, schools, community partners and other agencies.
  • Is self-motivated, organised, and able to manage administrative tasks around delivery.
  • Is enthusiastic, flexible and passionate about supporting families.

Required Experience

  • Experience in the voluntary sector.
  • 3 years experience of delivery to parents
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
  • Access to transport for travel across local areas.
