Are you passionate about volunteering and community building? We’re looking for a Volunteer Development Officer to lead and support the growth of volunteering across Renfrewshire.

In this dynamic role, you’ll work with local third-sector organisations to create impactful volunteer programmes, promote best practices, and foster a thriving volunteer community. You’ll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas and shape the role as you go, while developing your own skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support local groups to create meaningful volunteer experiences.
• Advocate for volunteer wellbeing and promote best practice.
• Lead networking and training forums for volunteer managers.
• Champion volunteering through creative marketing and national campaigns.
• Build strong partnerships with key local agencies.

You’ll need:

• Experience in volunteer programme development (or a passion to learn!).
• Great communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborative and proactive attitude.
