Are you a passionate and results-driven fundraising professional? St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is seeking an Area Fundraising Manager to lead and deliver on key income generation initiatives. This is an exciting period for the team, as we introduce new roles which will enable us to offer the very best experience for our supporters.

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice has been a cornerstone of our community, offering compassionate care and support to those facing life-limiting illnesses for the last 75 years. Our mission is to ensure every individual receives the dignity, comfort, and care they deserve. 

About the Role

As our Area Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading fundraising across our community, driving and executing the fundraising plan. You will be responsible for inspiring donors, engaging supporters, and securing the resources needed to achieve our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive area fundraising plan.

• Cultivate relationships with a wide range of supporters including, schools, community groups, corporate partners and individual supporters. 

• Lead community engagement initiatives to build awareness and support for the Hospice.

• Plan and deliver high-impact fundraising events and activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising objectives.

• Monitor progress against financial targets, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

About You:

We’re looking for a dynamic manager with a track record in delivering successful fundraising plans and working to targets. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and be passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated success in managing fundraising or target driven teams. 

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, corporate sponsors, and community groups.

• Knowledge of the Hospice or healthcare sector is an advantage but not essential.
