Role

A vacancy has arisen for a Pregnancy & Infant Support Practitioner at the Cottage Family Centre. You will have a range of knowledge and experience in supporting parents during pregnancy and with children aged up to 2 years in a one to one and group setting.

You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of issues affecting families with young children e.g. parental mental health and wellbeing, additional support needs, social isolation, poverty. 

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to use restorative and trauma-informed practice as well as have a sound knowledge and understanding of parenting strategies and approaches e.g. Solihull.

You must have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role/setting and a minimum SVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent in Early Years/Child Care/Social Care or related area, or other relevant qualification 

The posts will subject to PVG, References and SSSC Registration.
