Role

We are seeking a new member of staff to join our team delivering community mental health and wellbeing services within Edinburgh.

The Support and Development Worker will be an integral part of the team providing mental health support across the four localities of Edinburgh, delivering courses, workshops and groups. 

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering self-management courses such as; Managing Anxiety, Managing Stress, Emotional Regulation, the Wellbeing Toolkit, Decider Skills and Keep Yourself Well. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the development of new courses and workshops, to ensure we are providing effective, flexible and relevant mental health and wellbeing support to people in Edinburgh. 

You will use creative and innovative approaches to reach out to communities and stakeholders, to collaborate, promote and advertise services. You will work closely with the Thrive Welcome Teams and other third sector organisations.

If you have experience in providing group support, supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing, and are passionate about enabling people to fulfil their potential, we’d love to hear from you!
