Role

We’re looking for a permanent Project Worker to join our team. You will be working with autistic children (aged 4-16) and their families, helping them learn new skills and achieve goals that make a difference to daily family life. Your role will be across the Early Years and Target Specific Services.

Tailor Ed is a dedicated team of passionate and skilled professionals whose wish is to see autistic children and their families empowered and included, able to live the lives they want to and access the day-to-day experiences that other families take for granted. We are looking to enhance our team to help us deliver high-quality services to families across Edinburgh and East Lothian. We require a confident practitioner, equipped with the communication skills needed to form relationships with autistic children and their families, who is dedicated to supporting children make progress that leads to lifelong outcomes.

This role involves working independently in the community and travelling across Edinburgh/ East Lothian to visit families. As such, it is vital that you can work autonomously, with the ability to manage your own workload with initiative and flexibility but also come together with the wider team to ensure the success of the project as a whole.
