Role

The Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities (SCLD) is seeking a skilled Networks and Events Officer to support our national networks, deliver a varied programme of events, and play a key role in Scottish Learning Disability Week. You’ll provide secretariat support, coordinate meetings, liaise with speakers, and ensure accessible information is created and shared.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience in event delivery and working with people with learning disabilities is desirable, along with confidence using Microsoft 365 and online meeting platforms.

This permanent, part-time role (21 hours per week, Tuesday–Thursday) offers a salary of £28,000 (FTE) and 37 days pro rata annual leave. The post is hybrid, with time split between home working and our Glasgow office.
