Role

Govan Community Project is a medium sized charity, based in Govan, working with individuals and families in the asylum and refugee community across Glasgow and we are looking for a part time Comms Officer to join our team.  

We are looking for a creative individual whose experience in marketing and communications can support us to grow our impact.  If you have a passion for storytelling and the drive to change divisive narratives through impactful digital content, then we would love to hear from you.   

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in a communications, marketing or public relations role. You will have the creative skills and experience to develop digital content which will promote our services, support our fundraising campaigns, grow public and business audience engagement and amplify the voices of those we support.  

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant, dedicated team working in a diverse community.

The role will initially be office based with the potential of blended working following a probationary period.  

Terms & conditions include 33 days annual leave per year (pro-rata’d), contractual sick pay and flexible working.
