Role

Multi-Cultural Family Base aims to honour and uphold the lives of ethnically diverse children, young people, and their families who experience systemic barriers and social isolation. We do this directly through tailored one-to-one casework and therapeutic group work. We also educate and support the holistic development of professionals in a range of vocations. Through all of this work, we advocate and push for structural change.  

We’re looking for two people who share our mission and values to act as Chair of our Board of Directors and Company Secretary from October 2025.  

As Chair, you will facilitate Board discussions, ensure effective governance of our decision-making, and provide support and strategic direction to our CEO and Business Operations manager. You will be supported in the role by a Deputy Chair, a Treasurer, a Company Secretary and a dedicated, friendly, and collaborative group of Directors. 

As Company Secretary you will play a key role at the heart of our organisation in ensuring strong governance and compliance. You will be supported in that role by a dedicated, friendly, and collaborative group of Directors.
