Role

Do you share our vision of a better world and our passion for delivering long-term solutions to the world’s biggest challenges? If so, you could play a vital role on our Finance, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, helping to shape SCIAF’s future and strengthen our resilience.

About SCIAF

SCIAF is the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund - the official relief and development agency of the Catholic Church in Scotland. Around the world, SCIAF works with people of all faiths and none. We believe all God’s children are our sisters and brothers, and that everyone must be treated with dignity. We work in partnership with local and church

This committee plays a vital role in overseeing and monitoring SCIAF’s work, helping to ensure transparency, accountability, and strong governance. As a Committee Member, you will bring expert insight, offer fresh perspectives, and support us in navigating challenges with innovative, mission-focused solutions.

• Risk and compliance.

• IT and cyber security.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a governance role, even if you haven’t previously held one. If you're passionate about making a difference, eager to grow, and ready to act as a critical friend to SCIAF, we would love to hear from you.

Time commitment

• The term of office is three years which is renewable - normally only once.
