Role

Ready to make an impact in the heart of the community? Join LINKES as our new Co-Director!

Linkes is a community-led project in the heart of Knightswood, located in a high-rise estate made up of over 450 individual households. Linkes has been delivering a dynamic programme of support and services for almost 20 years now, and we have a vacancy for a brilliant leader to join us as we continue to develop alongside our community.

We're looking for a dynamic leader for this job share post, to help shape the future of our charity. As a Co-Director, you’ll drive LINKES’ vision and strategy, lead a passionate team, champion positive change, and build powerful partnerships. You’ll play a key role in every aspect of our work - from securing vital funding and managing budgets to ensuring excellent governance and amplifying the voices of those we serve.

Your remit will cover everything from overseeing vibrant community activities to fostering organisational growth and innovation. You’ll manage three on-site venues, support and inspire staff and volunteers, and be a visible ambassador for LINKES at every turn. Financial control, good governance, and safeguarding are all in your wheelhouse.

We're searching for someone with:

  • Proven community development experience (degree or 3+ years hands-on)
  • Strong track record in project management and funding success (including securing six-figure grants)
  • Experience leading teams, developing policies, and building partnerships
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to social justice, equality, and inclusion
  • Bonus points if you have local service knowledge, experience with refugees/asylum seekers, speak a community language or CLD Standards Council membership.

If you’re committed, collaborative, and believe in the power of community-led change, we want to hear from you.
