Role

About The Yard:

The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families with ambitions to support over 3000 children and young people.

We offer play, respite and family support from our adventure play centres in Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and Glasgow. 

About the role:

Your role will be to help generate the income required to help us continue our amazing services, keep our existing supporters up to date and inspire new supporters to come on board, by leading and driving our corporate fundraising across our four sites.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • To implement and deliver the corporate fundraising strategy and annual plans to secure ongoing support for our services 
  • Work across this income stream to build awareness of our work and raise the profile of The Yard amongst companies across Scotland

This job is for you if you:

  • Have a breadth of experience in meeting or exceeding funding targets 
  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships with funders
  • Are confident at speaking engagements and networking
  • Can manage a diverse workload while managing your own time effectively
  • Have experience in delivering organisational strategy
